Hamsey Green Primary School won tickets to visit the EDF Energy London Eye!

The Pod
In November last year, during our Switch-Off Fortnight celebration, we offered schools the chance to receive 38 tickets for the EDF Energy London Eye. All they had to do was email us to let us know they wanted to go. We had a number of teachers get in touch and the winners were Hamsey Green Primary School in Surrey, thanks to an email from their teacher Mrs Kirk. They had a great time celebrating Switch-Off Fortnight at their school and then ended the year on a high by finishing it with the visit to the London Eye in December. The students who went on the trip had been involved in conservation projects throughout the school. Errin, a pupil in Year 6 at the school, said "I was really excited when I heard we were going to the London Eye. I was surprised at how clear the view was - I thought it would be a lot smaller. I recognised Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament." !http://jointhepod.org/uploads/images/704x470/London-Eye-Group-Main-Image_1390482782.jpg(http://jointhepod.org/uploads/images/704x470/London-Eye-Group-Main-Image_1390482782.jpg)! You can see from the photo above that they really enjoyed their trip.
