A new STEM experience for Year 8 and 9 girls - Pretty Curious Studio

We're inviting Year 8 and 9 girls to join the Pretty Curious Studio, a half day workshop of creative and hands on STEM activities. The workshops are free, refreshments are included and we can contribute to transport costs*.

What to expect on the day:

Designed to encourage more girls to study STEM, the workshops will provide an opportunity for girls to come and see the latest technologies and invent a smart gadget of their own. We'll playfully illustrate the technology behind social media, solve every day challenges in the home using LittleBits (an introduction to circuits), explore Virtual Reality and more. The girls will develop new skills and meet inspirational STEM role models in an amazing setting.

Each school can bring up to 25 students, but please let us know if you would like to bring a larger number and we will let you know if this is possible.

Morning and afternoon sessions are available on the dates below:

Bristol: Wednesday 9th & Thursday 10th November (Please note, this date is now fully booked)

Ipswich: Tuesday 15th & Wednesday 16th November

Croydon: Tuesday 22nd & Wednesday 23rd November

Edinburgh: Tuesday 29th November & Wednesday 30th November
