Switch Off Fortnight 2019 - Closing

On Wednesday 4th December, the Eco Warriors took to the classrooms throughout the school to see if our Switch Off message made an impression. During our first survey we found that: 28 lights were left on, 18 whiteboards were left on and 45 devices were left on. After our fortnight of campaigning we found that: 4 lights were left on, 12 whiteboards were left on and 24 devices. This means, we have saved 10.45 kWh of energy! If we carried on, we would save 2038 kWh of energy! That’s the equivalent of £8472 and 10 pence! Our Eco Reps delivered another spectacular assembly sharing the positive impact of our campaign and encouraging everyone to continue to do their part to save energy. Keep switching off everyone !
