Why not give your students a chance to see what it's like to try to champion a message themselves, with our Energy Debate quick activity?
Divide the class into the Government and the opposition, then debate energy policy for the UK. A chance for them to master skills including confidence in public speaking, free thinking, persuasion and the ability to listen to another person's point of view and respond to them.
It may not end in agreement, but it is a way to discuss the pros and cons in a structured contest and a great activity to run as part of your Switch Off Fortnight.
