Golborne St Thomas C.E J and I School

What I / we did:
St Thomas choir visited a local old peoples home and sang Christmas carols to them. We also took chocolates to share with the people who lived in the home. We enjoyed sitting with them for a cup of tea and a chat after the carols were finished.

The impact it had on my/our community:
The older people who live a Golborne House love it when the young children in the school choir visit them near Christmas to sing carols to them. They also enjoy chatting to the young people who visit them.
How has it helped you?
This lets the people who live at Golborne House know that local children care about them and it brightens up their day.
