West London Waste Authority

West London Waste Authority is the joint waste disposal authority responsible for the disposal of rubbish collected from residents’ homes in six boroughs in west London – Brent, Ealing, Harrow, Hillingdon, Hounslow and Richmond upon Thames. Once your rubbish is collected, your local council drops it off to us and we are responsible for making sure it is dealt with appropriately.

Our Waste Minimisation Team run events and work with each council’s Waste & Recycling team as well as other partners to help west London residents Reduce, Re-use and Recycle as much of their waste as possible. We run events with community groups and schools whilst also running campaigns to engage the wider public. Previous events include food waste fair stands with the smoothie bike and also WEEEcollections for Recycle Week.
